Richard and Leslie Nuckolls call their 1958 Shasta “Ms. Patina.” She may not be perfect, but she is now sound, sturdy, and mostly leak-proof.

After years of use, her original Shasta wings and screen door had rotted away. Her exterior also carries plenty of scratches and scrapes from years on the road. Richard and Leslie love her just the way she is.

They have restored her systems and modified the trailer for off-grid camping. Ms. Patina rolls down the road like a dream and gets attention wherever she goes. Richard and Leslie enjoy taking her camping whenever they can.
