Serving Up Nacheez from a 1962 Oasis

I purchased my 1962 Oasis, Daisy, in January 2014 to help promote my business, Nacheez Dairy-Free Nacho Sauce, which is no longer in operation. I started Nacheez after being laid off from my job as an IT analyst with the County of Sacramento in March 2010. One door closed, and another one opened.

My mother, Carolyn—also known as Mama Nacheez—and I fixed up Daisy. We finally got her on the road for an event at Gluten Free Specialty Grocery.

Daisy took part in the Fourth of July Pocket Parade in Sacramento’s Pocket neighborhood.

One of Daisy’s most useful features is the custom screen door made by a friend. The upper screen can be removed, and a custom counter slides into place to create a convenient pass-through window. It was perfect for events where I handed out samples and sold nachos.
