Trailerfest SoCal is a favorite way to kick off the vintage trailer rally season in Southern California. Held at Bonelli Bluffs RV Resort in San Dimas, the gathering brings together vintage trailers, RVs, buses, and the people who enjoy camping, restoring, collecting, and sharing them.
With hundreds of campers filling the park, there is plenty to see throughout the weekend. Restored trailers, original survivors, custom builds, vintage tow vehicles, and creative campsites make walking through the campground part of the fun.
Rally Traditions
Trailerfest is about more than the trailers. The weekend includes casual activities that give everyone a chance to meet their neighbors and spend time together.
Morning Coffee Klatches are a popular gathering place before the day’s activities begin. Lunch may include simple rally favorites such as hot dogs and lemonade, while younger campers can take part in activities like the Kids’ Candy Scramble.
Potlucks are another Trailerfest tradition. Campers bring a favorite dish, grab a plate, and enjoy an easy evening with friends both old and new.
Light Up the Campground
One of the most popular evening activities is the Lantern Walk. Campers bring vintage lamps, lanterns, and other portable lights and walk together through the campground after dark.
The glow from vintage lanterns, patio lights, and decorated campsites gives the park a completely different look at night.
A Little Tiki Fun
A Tiki Social adds another excuse to pull something fun out of the closet. Hawaiian shirts, muumuus, tropical decorations, and vintage tiki accessories fit right in.
Like many Trailerfest activities, the idea is simple: visit with friends, meet new people, and have some fun around the trailers.

You don’t have to own a vintage trailer to enjoy Trailerfest. Our Saturday Open House gives the public an opportunity to walk through the campground, see vintage trailers up close, and talk with their owners.
The Open House is from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. on Saturday and is free to attend.
