Pink, Polished and Perfectly Paired

Peter and Mary Steinert completed the restoration of their 1956 Nash in 2012. They bought the Nash from the original owners and kept its authenticity through the rebuild. The color scheme remains the original Nash combination. Their work emphasizes meticulous detail to preserve originality throughout the project.

In 2014, the Steinerts acquired a 22‑foot 1966 Kenskill from RV Dr. George’s junk pile in Sacramento. The trailer was rotted and required a full restoration. They dismantled it, replaced much of the framing, rebuilt the interior paneling, and repainted the siding. Peter carefully painted each panel in a home studio and reattached the siding. The pair’s upholstery matches between car and trailer, drawing attention at Trailerfest Rally this year. Their finish work enhances the display alongside their car, underscoring the couple’s dedication to quality.
