This beautifully restored 1955 Jewel trailer is a perfect blend of vintage charm and modern convenience. It features all the comforts of today, including a flat-screen TV, solar power, and a fully self-contained water and power system. Carefully repainted in its original color scheme, this Jewel stays true to its 1955 roots.

Originally discovered on Craigslist in Oregon back in 2011, the trailer was a spontaneous purchase inspired by a friend’s 1953 Aljo. Without even owning a suitable tow vehicle, the new owners made the purchase and borrowed a truck to bring it home to Santa Cruz, CA.

Since then, thoughtful refurbishments have given the trailer a unique character. A translucent resin panel table, Marmoleum flooring squares, and a vintage Texas Ware bowl retrofitted into a bathroom sink add to its charm. While the retro aesthetic has been preserved, modern upgrades have been seamlessly integrated. This model even comes equipped with a commode and shower, making it as practical as it is stylish.

Before the final paint job, the trailer was spotted at a rally where a variety of white and blue paint samples were being tested. The attention to detail paid off, resulting in a stunning color combination that suits the era perfectly. Though the restoration is nearly complete, plans are still in place to add a range hood and fan, baby moon hubcaps, and a custom awning from Marti’s Awnings.

But there’s no time to sit back and admire the work—this trailer is already signed up for upcoming rallies. With a recently upgraded heavy-duty truck, it’s ready to hit the road in style for more adventures ahead.
