As we turn the page toward 2026, there’s a lot to celebrate in the world of vintage trailering and across America. We invite you to look ahead to an exciting year for our community—and for America itself. The year 2026 marks the 100th anniversary of Route 66 and the 250th anniversary of our nation’s founding, two incredible milestones that remind us why we love hitting the open road and celebrating the spirit of freedom and adventure.
Next year’s rallies will reflect these themes in fun and festive ways! The Tin Can Tourist Caravan and our Buellton Rally will both honor the legendary Route 66 with activities and costumes that reflect midcentury life along the Mother Road. At the Southern Oregon Rally, we’ll show our patriotic pride by decorating our trailers in red, white, and blue, while the San Dimas Rally in spring will feature a special salute to the U.S. Navy.
This past year brought out some of the most creative rally activities we’ve ever seen! From the Buellton Bash to South Lake Tahoe, participants came up with fun, laugh-out-loud ideas that kept everyone entertained all weekend long. (See page 24 for highlights!) You might just find a few activities you’ll want to incorporate into your own rallies next year. And if you’re not the rally host—don’t hesitate to offer to host an activity yourself. It’s a great way to get involved and add to the fun!
This time of year, we begin to wind down—but we’re already looking forward to all the memories to be made in 2026. Be sure to register early for these rallies before they sell out! You’ll find a list of upcoming events in the back of this magazine, and even more on our website.
