Gypsy Chic: How a Pink Shasta Became a Mobile Boutique

India and Zena Panico

Our story began on a beautiful Sunday afternoon in June in Lexington, South Carolina. We are sisters-in-law who had both dreamed of opening our own store. As we talked that afternoon, the idea of creating a mobile boutique began to take shape. Our instincts told us we were onto something special.

The very next day, we found a fully restored, hot-pink 1965 Shasta trailer. It seemed almost too good to be true. We purchased it right away, and our new business was born!

Create your own unique look for your style

We redesigned the interior and transformed the trailer into a walk-in boutique. Chandeliers and special lighting now illuminate the shop, while unique displays showcase our carefully selected inventory.

At our events, we have met so many wonderful and encouraging people who love this fun new way to shop. We offer comfortable, stylish clothing designed to flatter a variety of body types. Our pieces can easily be mixed and matched, allowing each customer to create a look that reflects her personal style.

We believe every woman’s wardrobe should include comfortable, affordable clothing that can be worn in many different ways. Our prices are easy on the wallet and will always remain consistent.

We are excited to bring Gypsy Chic to your next event, festival or show—or even a special night out with the girls!
