Katy towed her Lakewood trailer through wind, rain, lightning, hail, snow, and sun while exploring the beautiful Western United States.
Katy Reischling, from Edmonds, WA, hit the road with her dog Ana and her 1954 Lakewood trailer. She was on the road for two weeks, traveling through Oregon, Utah, and Arizona. Katy towed her Lakewood trailer through wind, rain, lightning, hail, snow, and sun while exploring the beautiful Western United States. She even got to experience a double rainbow after a storm blew over just north of Moab, Utah. Driving through the wind was the most difficult for Katy.
Before leaving on her trip, Katy put new tires on her all-original 1954 Lakewood trailer. She filled the propane tank and bought a solar panel. For two weeks, Katy and Ana boon-docked in Lakewood. With her great packing and planning, Katy never had to go to the store. She said she enjoyed her trip so much that she plans to take another trip to see more of our amazing country.
