1966 KenCraft Was a Father/Daughter Project

1966 Ken-Craft was rescued in May 2014 by Cathy and Leo Harrod. Cathy had been on the hunt for a corner kitchen Ken-Craft for a while. The previous owner bought this one to refurbish it. After about a year or two of working on it, he decided it was too much to do. So the Harrods bought it!

The previous owner had replaced all of the skin on the outside and inside they had bought a new Dometic fridge, but everything else the Harrods had to work on. Cathy’s dad, Tim Frantz, refinished the whole inside and built the dinette from scratch since there was none. He installed the Formica on the dinette table and around kitchen sink and installed cedar in all of the closets. He did a great job and Cathy did her touches throughout the rest of it. It is finished it in more of a darker walnut color than amber so Cathy ran with it and she kind of did a “cabin high country” theme.

This is the Harrods second vintage camper trailer. Leo said “While our Pathfinder trailer will always be our “vintage” trailer this one will be the cozy cabin home away from home.”
