Refurbished Vintage Trailer: A Versatile Gem Ready for Adventure or Comfort

Looking for a unique and versatile living space that combines vintage charm with modern comfort? This 1970 Boles Aero, 28’6” two-door vintage trailer is ready to find its new home. Recently refurbished and packed with thoughtful updates, it’s perfect for use as a travel trailer, ADU, Airbnb rental, or a cozy guest house. Whatever your needs, this trailer is ready to deliver—all while turning heads with its timeless appeal.

A Fresh Start: The Backstory

Less than 90 days ago, we set out to transform this classic trailer into a livable space for our college student. While our plans to use it at a trailer park didn’t pan out, the result is a beautifully refreshed vintage trailer that’s ready for its next adventure.

Modern Updates for Maximum Comfort

The updates start from the ground up. With brand-new tires and wheels, this trailer is as ready for the road as it is to be parked in place. Inside, you’ll find new flooring throughout, creating a fresh and welcoming environment. The curtains and foam mattress have also been replaced, adding comfort and style to the cozy interior.

Practicality meets modern convenience with a new 120-volt refrigerator, a microwave for quick meals, and an Envi e-heat panel heater that’s perfect for staying warm on chilly nights. Safety hasn’t been overlooked either—the trailer is equipped with a new fire detector and secure deadbolts on both doors, all keyed alike for your convenience.

Functional and Ready to Go

The bathroom has been updated with a brand-new toilet, paired with the trailer’s original black water holding tank. While the tank’s size is unknown, it’s functional and ready to use. The roof has been carefully coated with five gallons of sealant, ensuring it’s protected from the elements for years to come.

Other features include a street water connection, eliminating the need for a freshwater tank. Hoses and waste pipes are included to make setting up easy. The roof-mounted air conditioner currently provides ventilation but doesn’t blow cold air—a repair we left untouched since we planned to use the trailer in a cooler climate. The stove and oven are operational, though we haven’t extensively tested the oven’s performance. Additionally, the propane tanks were re-certified and filled less than three months ago, and the water heater, which appears to be newer, had its thermocouple replaced as a precaution.

Flexible for Travel or Stationary Use

While the trailer retains some 12-volt lighting, it hasn’t been tested as we used it primarily as a park model relying on 120-volt systems. Despite this, the trailer offers flexibility for those looking to travel or create a stationary retreat.

Endless Possibilities

With its clear title and registration valid through next August, this vintage trailer is ready to roll. See more details here. It’s sold as-is, reflecting its status as a classic piece of craftsmanship with plenty of life left for the right owner.

Whether you’re dreaming of road trips, creating a rental space, or adding a unique feature to your property, this trailer offers endless possibilities. Don’t miss your chance to own a piece of vintage charm that’s both functional and full of character. Reach out today and make it yours!
