Description

By the time this issue lands in your hands, the rally season is fully underway. Campgrounds are filling, trailers are back on the road, and the familiar rhythm of rally season has returned. There is a special kind of energy that comes with this time of year: part anticipation, part momentum, and part reunion. After months of planning, prepping, and polishing, it is always rewarding to see the hobby come back to life in such a big way.

April gave us a strong start with both Trailerfest SoCal and the Tin Can Tourists Winter Convention. These events always serve as an inspiring reminder of what makes vintage trailering so special. Yes, the trailers are wonderful to look at, and the craftsmanship never disappoints, but it is the people behind them who make the experience what it is. Seeing friends reconnect, welcoming first-timers, and watching crowds move from one unique trailer to the next is what keeps us excited for the season ahead.

We have also been grateful for the enthusiastic response to our Vintage Camper Trailer Cookbook. It has been fun hearing from readers who are enjoying the recipes, sharing the book with friends, and taking a little piece of the vintage camping lifestyle home with them. The positive feedback has meant a lot, and we appreciate everyone who has supported the project so far. If you have not picked up a copy yet, it is available now and ready for camp season.

Another addition we are especially pleased with is our new VCT name tags, now being handed out to rally participants when they check in at our events. They have already been warmly received and add a nice personal touch while making it easier for people to meet, mingle, and remember names. In a hobby built on community, that small detail goes a long way. For those who would like one of their own, they are also available in our store.

Looking ahead, we are taking registrations through May for our Yellowstone Adventure. If you would like to meet up with us in Idaho, we would love to have you join us.

As always, this issue is filled with the stories, trailers, and people that keep this magazine moving forward. The season is in motion, the rallies are rolling, and there is plenty more ahead.
