Meet “Lil’ Silva”: A Sparkling Silver Streak with Big Personality

When we first laid eyes on this little beauty, it was the sparkle that caught our attention—but it was the charm and character that truly won us over. We affectionately named her Lil’ Silva, and she’s been part of our lives for the past six years.

At just 2,250 lbs., Lil’ Silva is lightweight, easy to tow, and packed with convenience. The rear kitchen and bathroom make excellent use of the space, and the trailer is fully self-contained with a toilet and shower—perfect for comfortable adventures on and off the grid.

One of our favorite features is the original Continental kit that covers the spare tire. It adds a unique flair and retro elegance that truly sets this trailer apart.

Over the years, we’ve made plenty of thoughtful upgrades while preserving her vintage charm. We added a Zip Dee awning for shade, and a new propane refrigerator—keeping the original aqua front panel so it still perfectly matches the original aqua stove. We also installed a tankless propane water heater, a Wave 3 heater, a 12V Fantastic Fan, and upgraded to full LED lighting powered by two 12V batteries mounted on the tongue.

Inside, we went all out with beautiful custom cabinet work featuring dovetail joints and inlaid woods, plus handcrafted drawers for extra storage. The layout includes a side gaucho couch, and we keep the front dinette made into a bed—topped with custom back cushions. Together, it creates an L-shaped sectional-style space that can seat up to seven people—perfect for happy hour or late-night chats.

Whether we’re hooked up or dry camping, we’re completely at home in our cozy Silver Streak. Lil’ Silva may be small, but she delivers big comfort and style wherever we go.
