About Us

Welcome to the world of Vintage Camper Trailers, where passion for the past meets modern ingenuity. Since 2011, we’ve been dedicated to celebrating and preserving the vibrant culture of vintage trailering through our magazine, rallies, books, and educational events.

What We Do

  • Magazine Publishing: We started with a humble newsletter, and today, the Vintage Camper Trailers Magazine is a glossy, nationally distributed publication available in both print and digital formats.
  • Trailerfest Rallies and VCT Boot Camp: From large-scale rallies to hands-on workshops, we host unforgettable events that bring the vintage trailering community together.
  • Authors and Educators: We’ve written two books on the hobby, distributed nationally, and are hard at work on our third.
  • Restoration Experts: Our personal collection of pre-1969 trailers, cars, and gear reflects decades of experience restoring and preserving vintage treasures.

Our Story

What began as a passion project has evolved into a full-fledged family business. Founded by Paul and Caroline Lacitinola, Vintage Camper Trailers is driven by a love for mid-century values and the nostalgia of simpler times. From publishing a magazine to hosting rallies that feel like family reunions, our mission is to entertain, educate, and inspire vintage trailer enthusiasts of all kinds—collectors, restorers, admirers, and dreamers alike.

Why We Love Print Media

In a digital world, we still believe in the power of print. Our magazine is a tangible piece of the hobby, offering a longer shelf life and a personal connection that digital media can’t replicate. Studies show that:

  • 92% of 18- to 23-year-olds find it easier to read print over digital content.
  • Direct mail has a 37% higher response rate than email.
  • Print ads are trusted 34% more than search engine ads.

Our magazine finds homes not just on coffee tables but in RVs, hobby shops, and doctors’ offices—places where it’s read, shared, and loved for years to come.

Our Mission

At Vintage Camper Trailers, (VCT Media Inc.) we aim to:

  • Promote the vintage trailering hobby through entertainment, education, and connection.
  • Reflect mid-century values in everything we do.
  • Provide value to advertisers, sponsors, and readers through a blend of traditional print media and modern digital platforms.
  • Strengthen the community by hosting events and sharing the stories that make this hobby so special.
Trailerfest Rallies can be found from Southern Oregon to Southern California.
