Randy Gomez has developed a recognizable “signature style” in the world of vintage trailer restoration—one that blends refined design with a deep respect for original character. His trailers feature expertly crafted interiors with polished aluminum, white birch paneling and cabinetry, and thoughtfully designed chef’s kitchens complete with restored porcelain vintage stoves and ovens. Era-correct countertops and lighting complete the look, all wrapped inside an exterior that remains beautifully understated.
Gomez’s journey into trailers began with a passion for design and a background in restoring classic automobiles. After successfully bringing several iconic cars back to life, his attention turned to vintage Airstreams. His first trailer project, a 1965 Safari, set the tone—exceeding expectations and ultimately being repurposed as a TV production trailer used for live webcasts.
He followed that success with a 1955 Flying Cloud, reimagined as a stylish guest house for a mid-century Hollywood residence. These early builds helped shape what would become his signature approach: maximizing usable space within a carefully optimized footprint, while maintaining a cohesive vintage aesthetic.
A 1953 Silver Streak Clipper stands as a strong example of Gomez’s axle-up restorations. Every system has been updated to modern standards using high-quality materials and components, while the interior finish reflects a level of craftsmanship aimed at even the most discerning eye.
