Gord Miller, from Victoria, British Columbia, stumbled upon a mystery on wheels last December—a 15-foot trailer with no clear markings or manufacturer ID. The transfer papers listed it as a 1964 model, but aside from a few stick-on letters, there’s little to confirm its origins. What is clear, though, is that this trailer is getting a second life, thanks to Gord’s dedication and creative vision.

Believing the interior to be entirely homemade, Gord decided the trailer was a perfect blank slate for a custom build. He began incorporating design elements inspired by his favorite vintage trailers, blending the best of mid-century style into this unique project. Every step of the restoration has been done by Gord himself—from prepping and painting the body to restoring and installing vintage jalousie windows.

“It’s a big job,” Gord admits—but one he’s fully committed to.
Next up is installing a birch interior and finishing it off with a green sparkle dinette and countertops, adding just the right pop of vintage flair.

Once complete, Gord plans to take his one-of-a-kind trailer to a few rallies in Washington State next spring, with the goal of making the journey to Trailerfest in Plymouth, California, in September.

With craftsmanship, vision, and a true DIY spirit, Gord is turning an unidentified trailer into a rolling tribute to vintage style.
