It may take up to three weeks (from the day it is mailed) for your issue to arrive in your mailbox.  The magazine is mailed the first week of the publication month. (ie: The March/April issue is mailed the first week of March. We do not replace any “missing issues” until April 1st.) Your digital copy of the magazine is available in your dashboard on the first of the month.

What year are trailers considered “vintage” to participate in a Trailerfest Rally?

For Trailerfest Rallies, we typically consider trailers manufactured before 1972 as vintage. However, some events offer space and a separate area for modern RVs. It’s important to check the specific event details for more information. Retro-style, reissue models, fiberglass eggs, and teardrops that are designed to look vintage are generally accepted. Motorized RVs and Airstreams from the 1970s are also considered vintage. If you have a unique RV that falls outside these guidelines, feel free to reach out—we’re always open to making exceptions!

Do I have to have a restored vintage trailer to participate in a Trailerfest Rally?

NO! Bring your project as long as you can stay in it. There are trailers of all calibers in all stages of restoration. The variety of people and RVs is what makes it interesting and fun.

Can I pick a site at a Trailerfest Rally?

You may request a specific site or to be with friends but we can not make any guarantees. We want to make Trailerfest the best rally you will ever attend. You may add notes to your reservation or email us if you have special requests like a specific campsite or who you would like to camp with. We make every effort to accommodate. Your requests are more likely to be possible if you register early. Other things like your arrival date, trailer size, and other participants’ set reservations may not be able to meet your request. Remember that everyone wants sites close to the bathroom, with shade, or next to all of their best friends. We will do what we can, but there are only so many bathrooms, the shade changes throughout the day, and everyone can’t be right next to everyone. Specific campsites can never be guaranteed as there can always be last-minute changes with parks beyond our control.

What is my campsite number at a Trailerfest Rally?

Site numbers are given when you check in at the park. A variety of factors can cause a last-minute change, so we do not typically give out sites in advance. If you are returning to a rally year after year and want to keep your site, we make every effort to accommodate you.

What is check in and checkout time at a Trailerfest Rally?

Each park is a little different. Check in times should be on your confirmation that you received from us. You can also go to the RV park website for any rules and guidelines in the park policies. We follow the parks rules.

Are pets welcome at a Trailerfest Rally?

Pets are a part of camping and are typically welcome if they are well-behaved, mild-mannered, and quiet.  Parks may have rules restricting pets, especially when it comes to “vicious breeds” of dogs.  Check with the park to see what their rules regarding pets are. Park rules must be followed. Pets are NOT permitted at rally events like potlucks, workshops or other gatherings. (Multiple pets, large breeds, aggressive dogs, or “barkers” are probably not best suited for a vintage trailer rally.)

What are the rules recarding golf carts, mini bikes etc at a Trailerfest Rally?

This is usually not a problem, but if you are concerned, check with the RV park directly. (We typically get a little forgiveness on this one, and electric bikes are prominent at rallies.) In all instances, we will follow the park rules, which may have restrictions on age, hours, helmets, etc. Operators of motor vehicles must be licensed. Adults ONLY may use skateboards if permitted by the park.

What are the terms and conditons associated with a Trailerfest Rally reservation?
